Birthday Bash, and your INVITED!

Welcome Back Fashionistas!

I am excited to be celebrating 2 years in the blogging world; and I'd love for you to celebrate with me. It has all been a wonderful journey, and I don't plan on slowing down one bit! The love of Fashion, Art & Creativity has been there since day 1.... but the Blog started as just a hobby to keep me busy and in the loop on my down time. I have learned a lot about the Industry, Networking, and being a blogger in general from this little experiment. Now, I can say it has grown into so much more, including a Facebook page with over 2,000 followers. For all of that and all of your love and support, I am grateful!

I hope you continue to follow me on this fashionable journey, as I have many more projects and surprises to come! I definitely wouldn't want you to miss out! And if this is your first time stopping by, WELCOME! I'd love for you to let me you were here.... Just follow us to the right & don't forget you can find us on Facebook too! Can't wait to share with you guys all the exciting things I have planned for this year.

Again, Thank You!

Wondering what was my first post EVER? Check it out and reminisce with me as I scroll through all my old posts from 2011 and beyond!

Michelle Obama, Making Fashion History!

Hello My Lovelies!

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend and tuned in for the Inaugural events these last couple of days. Most of the world tuned in to watch our President get sworn in for his second term, but almost just as important, was what will the First Lady be wearing? Who will she be wearing to the Inaugural Ball?

Well, I think most of you will agree..... She did not disappoint!

Here's a recap of all her outfits and designer choices from the Kids Inaugural Concert to
the Inaugural  Ball!

Enjoy!

Mrs. Obama and the girls at the Kids Inaugural Concert on Saturday. The First Lady wore
straight-leg black pants and a white top from Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 Collection paired
with a belt and kitten heels.
Sunday evening, Mr. President was sworn in in a private ceremony. Michelle Obama
wore a Blue Reed Krakoff shift dress and cardigan. Malia wore an H&M dress layered
over a long sleeve black top and Sasha wore a plum Tracy Reese dress from Anthropologie
Monday Morning, Michelle wore a Thom Browne silk tie coat and
J.Crew kitten heels.
Later that afternoon, she spruced it up for the Inauguration Ceremony
and Parade, by adding a J.Crew embellished belt, J.Crew gloves and Reed Krakoff boots.
At the Luncheon, Michelle wore a Thom Browne dress paired with
 a Reed Krakoff cardigan.
And lastly..... The Inauguration Ball! Our First Lady
decided to go with the same designer who dressed her for Mr. President's
first term four years ago, designer Jason Wu.
She looked stunning in a ruby red chiffon and velvet halter gown
by designer Jason Wu, Jimmy Choo heels and gold bangles
Congratulations to Mr. President and his beautiful fashionable family on his second term.

This was a fashionable weekend for our first Lady, and I personaly enjoyed every second of it. What did you guys think of all her fashion choices? Did you guys enjoy her final look, the red Jason Wu Gown? I personally love how she mixes designer brands with lower end pieces and how she is faithful to designers who make her look great.

20 Looks: Golden Globes

Hi my lovely fashionistas!....I'm back with hot Red Carpet looks from last nights Golden Globe Awards 2013!

Long, Sheer, Slits & Prints....I've got some of the most popular looks of the night! I was pleasantly surprised with many of the looks, in being that there was a wide range of styles. When there is one obviously common trend or color, everyone starts to look the same. Last night the ladies kept things interesting for the most part. One common theme that I did notice on a few dresses was the mermaid hem and lace, yet they were all distinctly different.

The looks are not in any particular order  nor is it a "Best vs Worst Dressed" list, just a collage of what was shown in case you missed it!

Enjoy!

Did I miss any amazing looks that should be posted? Let me know in a comment below along with YOUR favorite looks of the night!

Miss Wu has Arrived

And you might be asking yourself, "Who is Miss Wu?"
That is the name of the new contemporary line by designer Jason Wu. The line launched yesterday, January 7th, at Nordstrom

Jason Wu says, "As my main collection has evolved to be sexier and more evocative, I wanted the sweeter side of my design sensibility to be preserved."

The price range for the new collection ranges from $190 - $800. Jason Wu even released a short film to accompany the debut of his line on Style.com

"I always believe that a little bit of fantasy makes fashion more interesting," says Wu

I am excited to see this line in person. It reminds me of the design collaboration he did with Target. Not at all in a cheap type of way, but the very clean and basic silhouettes and very easy-to-wear prints and colors. Collections like this are very versatile because they are easy to carry on to the next season and the separate pieces blend easily with your existing wardrobe.

The Video didn't do much for me. Take a Look.....

What do you think of the new more affordable line by Jason Wu? Is this a collection you will be checking out for yourself?
