The Streets @ Men's Fashion Week in Paris

This post is going to be minimum in words and maximized in amazing photos! I had to edit down the pics to 20 to avoid making this post toooo long, but let me tell you, it wasn't easy. As I did my daily fashion research, I ran into some amazing photos at www.wwd.com of people roaming the streets of Paris during Men's Fashion Week! Mostly of men. So, since I don't write enough about men's fashion, I figured this was perfect to share with you (and all my guy readers!).

Let's get to it......ENJOY!

Let your lips do the talking!

Through out 2011 and still going into 2012....Bold Lips have been all the rage. Whether they are bright or dark, the key word is "BOLD". Make-up artists say that there's a shade of Red for every complexion, you just have to play around with different shades until you find one that works for you. But for those who are brave enough to go beyond red, 2012 is the year for you. With cosmetic companies creating diffent shades of orange, purple and blue's....among some of the more Bold colors, their are no boundaries with this trend. You can rock your bold lip with a shine or Matt, depending on the look your going for. Now, I agree...some of these looks look cool in a magazine or down a runway, but most of us probably won't wear anything too Wild outside of a personal photo where we let out our inner model out... but MANY women ARE stepping outside the box. From celebrities to fashionistas in the streets, BOLD BOLD BOLD is all I see!

I love looking at editorials with creative make-up, espcially if the focus are the lips! How BOLD are you? What colors would you wear, do you wear or  wouldn't you wear? Share your thoughts, comments and ideas with me down below!

New Collaboration: Jason Wu for Target

Okay, this isn't the first collaboration between a designer and a retail store like H&M and Target, who are known for their designer collabo's, but this is one I'm considering to wake up early and stand in line for. Jason Wu for Target is dated to hit stores February 5- March 6. Jason Wu is a young designer who's buzz has only blown up in the last couple of years. He recently just released his first home fragrance line of candles and has a perfume in the works (can't wait for that!) I'm a big fan of young designers who are given a chance and succeed, and that's what comes to mind when I think of Jason Wu.

Refinery 29 says, "If we could describe the collection in one word, it'd be "flattering."
The pieces are trend free and timeless and very spring appropriate. "The collection is like a greatest hits version of Jason's main line, only cheaper", says Refinery 29.

First Home Fragrance: Orchid Rain

The candles are made of a rare breed of orchids and a hint of leather. Unique Combination, huh?

How Jason describes the scent, "It smells beautiful, sophisticated, with a hint of an edge."

Enjoy a peak of his line for Target:

Jason Wu tells the New York Times, "My goal was not to duplicate anything from my main collection...Instead design completely new clothes and accessories that reflect my taste and have a voice of their own."

Personal View: The line may not be entirely my style, but there are a few pieces that I do love and am curious to see the craftsmanship in person. I know you can't expect designer quality for Target prices, but when designers do collaborations, I personally feel that the lines should be a step up from the store's main collection....isn't that what we want? I do love that there are many separates in the collection. You might not wear it the way it's shown here, but I'm sure as separates you can make a look of your own...MY PLANS EXACTLY! Some Jason Wu with a Touch of Endless inspiration!

What do you think of all these designer collaboration taken place lately? Will you be going out to shop Jason Wu for Target? Share your thoughts with me in a comment below.
